Thanks to Whakatane Rod & Custom Club for Hosting their annual Hot Rod Reunion Drags at Chanpion Dragway at Meremere (February 4, 2001).
The meeting is open to Nostalgia type race cars, pre 1950 Hot Rods and pre 1972 American origin cars. The event is a laid back fun day that gives everyone plenty of opportunity to give your Rod a blast down the strip, or just sit back in the stands and enjoy the action. Thanks to Clive Falconer for letting me take his "T" for a 14.3 second trip down the strip.
